Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing the website or subscribing to the service, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, authorized to enter agreements on behalf of any business you represent, and accept these Terms in full.

2. The service

SNAPU provides AI-powered camera monitoring during your business hours. The service watches camera feeds you connect, processes images through AI models, and delivers daily summary reports and on-screen prompts to your team.

SNAPU is not a security or surveillance system. It is not designed to detect crimes, alert authorities, or replace insured security services. Use SNAPU for operational monitoring only.

3. Subscription and payment

• Pricing is published on the website and may change with 30 days' notice to existing customers.
• Billing is monthly per camera, unless otherwise agreed.
• You may cancel at any time. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees.
• Refunds for the current billing month are not provided; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for obtaining the legal right to monitor any space you connect SNAPU to.
• You must disclose camera monitoring to employees and visitors as required by applicable labor and privacy laws (we help draft the notice as part of setup, but the legal obligation is yours).
• You will not use SNAPU to monitor private spaces (bathrooms, dressing rooms, employees' homes), or to track individuals based on protected characteristics.
• You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or commercially resell the service.

5. Data ownership

You retain ownership of all data you provide and all data generated from your cameras. We hold a limited license to process your data solely to operate the service. We do not use your data to train AI models or sell it to anyone.

6. Intellectual property

All SNAPU software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Hostinger, OpenAI, Google, internet providers), and force majeure events may temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". SNAPU may produce false positives or miss real events. AI-based monitoring is not a substitute for human judgment. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SNAPU's total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid SNAPU in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate the service for material breach of these Terms (including non-payment after notice, illegal use, or misuse of the service). On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required to retain it by law.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv–Yafo, Israel, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your residence require otherwise.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the change becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.
