1. Who we are

SNAPU operates at snapuai.com. The data controller is Dor Dabas. Contact: info@snapuai.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data we need to operate the service:

• Contact form: business name, phone, email, and the tasks you select or write in the "wishlist" field.
• WhatsApp / email outreach: any information you choose to share when contacting us directly.
• Local browser storage: language preference, selected business sector for the demo, and accessibility menu preferences. Stored in your browser only; we cannot read it remotely.
• Server logs (Hostinger): IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Standard web hosting logs, retained ~30 days.
• First-party analytics (anonymous): aggregated visit statistics - page views, rough visitor counts, referring site, device type and timing - collected by our own server. Cookieless and stored as anonymous totals only; no IP address or personal identifier is retained.
• Customer data (post-purchase): if you become a customer, we collect business information needed to operate the service (camera setup, monitored tasks, billing details). Covered by a separate Data Processing Agreement.

We do not use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel), and the site does not set advertising cookies. Our own first-party analytics is cookieless and anonymous: it stores only aggregated counts and never your IP address or any data that identifies you.

3. Why we use it (legal basis)

• To respond to your inquiry - basis: your consent / pre-contract steps.
• To operate the service for paying customers - basis: contract performance.
• To keep the site secure and functional - basis: our legitimate interest.
• To understand and improve how the site is used - basis: our legitimate interest (anonymous, aggregated analytics only).
• To comply with legal obligations - basis: legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

• Hostinger - our hosting provider. Stores the website files and standard server logs. Located in the EU.
• Web3Forms - processes the contact form submission and forwards it to our email. They do not retain your data beyond delivery.
• OpenAI / Google Gemini - for customers only, anonymized camera frames are processed by these AI providers under their respective enterprise data processing terms (no training on customer data).
• Cloudinary - for customers only, stores camera images and short videos.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. Ever.

5. How long we keep it

• Contact-form submissions: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Customer business data: deleted within 30 days of subscription cancellation.
• Server logs: ~30 days (Hostinger's standard retention).
• Local browser storage: until you clear it from your browser.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

• Access - request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct - ask us to update inaccurate data.
• Delete - ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict / Object - limit or stop our processing of your data.
• Portability - receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent - at any time, for any consent-based processing.
• Complain - to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, EU Data Protection Authorities, or US state regulators as applicable.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, hosting on Hostinger with industry-standard security controls, and access controls on production data. No system is fully secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

8. Children

SNAPU is a B2B service for business owners. It is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. International transfers

Our hosting and AI providers may store and process data outside Israel (primarily in the EU and the United States). When that happens, we rely on either Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms to protect your data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and notify subscribed customers by email. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
