Short version
SNAPU does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. We use your browser's local storage to remember a few preferences (language, accessibility settings, selected demo sector). Nothing here identifies you, and nothing is sent to a third party. We do run our own privacy-first analytics to count visits, but it uses no cookies, no local storage, and stores no personal data - only anonymous, aggregated totals.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files a website can save on your device. Local storage is a similar mechanism that lives only in your browser and is not sent back to the server with each request. SNAPU uses local storage exclusively - not cookies.

None of these keys contain personal data. They are read by SNAPU JavaScript running in your browser only.
3. Third-party services that may set their own cookies
- Tailwind CSS CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com / cdn.jsdelivr.net) - serves the stylesheet. No tracking cookies, but the CDN may set technical cookies for caching.
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) - serves the typography. Google's font CDN does not use tracking cookies.
- Web3Forms (only when you submit the contact form) - handles form delivery. See their privacy policy.
We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or any third-party tracker on this site.
We do use a first-party, privacy-preserving analytics counter that runs on our own
server (/api/v.php). It records anonymous, aggregated statistics - page views, rough
visitor counts, referring site, device type and timing - to help us improve the site. It sets
no cookies, writes nothing to your browser's storage, and never
stores your IP address or anything that identifies you. Visitor counts use a one-way daily code that
is regenerated every day, so visits cannot be linked across days or back to a person.
4. How to control or clear storage
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites → find snapuai.com → Clear data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search snapuai.com → Remove.
- Safari (Mac): Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → snapuai.com → Remove.
- Mobile browsers: Open the browser settings and look for "Site Data" or "Storage". Clear data for snapuai.com.
Clearing storage will reset your language and accessibility preferences on the next visit.
5. Do we need consent?
We use only strictly necessary local storage (preferences - no tracking, no advertising), and our analytics is cookieless and fully anonymous. Because neither sets a cookie nor stores personal data, under most legal frameworks (Israeli Privacy Protection Law, EU ePrivacy / GDPR, US CCPA) no separate consent banner is required. By using the site, you accept the limited storage and anonymous analytics described above.
6. Changes
If we ever add cookie-based tracking, third-party analytics, or anything that collects data which could identify you, this policy and the site will be updated and a consent banner will appear before that tracking begins.
